The BMS series device is designed for continuous, cell-by-cell monitoring of battery parameters in real time — without disconnecting the battery from the circuit. It is used at substations, power plants, and other energy facilities as part of DC distribution boards (DCD), charger-rectifier units (CRU), or as a standalone measuring unit.

Where the Device Is Installed
The BMS is housed in a metal enclosure and can be installed:
- on a wall or battery rack in the battery room;
- on the external part of a DCD, CRU, or other cabinet.
The device is equipped with a color liquid-crystal display for information visualization and a touch panel for control.
What the BMS Device Monitors
The BMS provides 24/7 online monitoring of each cell in the battery:
- voltage of each battery cell;
- battery and individual cell charge and discharge current;
- cell impedance (internal resistance);
- internal temperature;
- current state of charge as a percentage;
- current battery capacity.
All measured parameters are displayed on the color LCD monitor as bar graphs and curves. If any parameter deviates from the permissible range, the system generates an alarm signal.
Additionally, the device performs real-time voltage balancing between battery cells — a key condition for uniform battery wear and maintaining the full service life of the battery.


Supported Protocols and Notifications
The device integrates with industrial control and dispatching systems via standard protocols:
- Modbus TCP — for connection to industrial SCADA systems;
- SNMP — for integration into network infrastructure;
- HTTP — for access via a web interface.
SMS and email alerts are also provided when battery parameters deviate from the normal range — personnel receive notifications regardless of their location.
Compatibility and Configuration
The device is designed for monitoring batteries with cell voltages of 2V, 6V, and 12V, with a total of up to 120 cells in a single circuit.
The configuration and equipment package are selected individually based on:
- battery cell voltage;
- total number of batteries in the circuit;
- requirements for integration with industrial control systems.

A battery used as part of a DCD is a backup power source that must operate at a critical moment. Without systematic monitoring, degradation of individual cells may remain undetected until a failure occurs. The BMS device detects a faulty cell in advance — before it affects the operation of the entire battery and the reliability of the DC operational power system.
